Wait for everyone in the elevator to exit before entering.
If you are hosting visitors, clients, or customers, hold the elevator door and allow your guest to enter first.
Never discuss personal or private topics, or make out unless you’re the only two people on the elevator.
Hold the “door open” button for others entering the elevator unless in the case of an emergency.
The people nearest the elevator door should exit first (unless there are elderly or disabled people, who should always be allowed to go first)
Smoking in elevators is usually prohibited by law-doing so could result in legal or disciplinary action.
Pay attention to the signs posted in or around the elevator and do remember in cases of emergency use the stairs.
